Getting Started

Getting Started

  1. 1

    Request an appointment.

Use the button on any page. It opens a short, secure request form where you share your name, contact information, which clinician you'd like to work with, and a few words about what brings you in. This form is hosted by our HIPAA-compliant practice management system, so what you write stays protected. You can also call us at (210) 593-3112.

  2. 2

    Complete intake paperwork.

Before your first session you will receive intake forms, our informed consent, privacy practices, and your Good Faith Estimate through the client portal. Everything is signed electronically.

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the cost of your care before you begin. We provide one to every client at intake and update it if your treatment plan changes. You can also request one at any time. For more information, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

  3. 3

    Set up for telehealth.

You need a device with a camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, and a private space where you will not be interrupted. You must be physically in Texas during every session.

  4. 4

    First session.

Your clinician will get to know you, understand what brought you in, and talk through what working together will look like. There is no pressure to tell the whole story on day one.
